- Once a trip is saved, you can export it to your GPS or print driving directions.
There are several ways you can add a stop to your trip. First, open the trip in the Plan A Trip section (this is “edit mode”). To add a stop, do any of the following:
Type a location into the Add A Stop field in the left panel. A location can be a zip code, city and state, or a street address. If there are multiple locations that match your search, you’ll be able to pick the one you want.
OR, right click on the map to add that location as a stop.
One important thing to note: new stops will ALWAYS be added to the end of your trip. But you can move them to any point in the trip.
When you’re planning a trip, new stops are always added to the END of your trip. But you can move them to any point in the trip, using either of the following methods. First, open the trip in the Plan A Trip section (this is “edit mode”). Make sure that the left panel shows the Edit Stops tab.
Click on a stop and drag it to the point in the trip that you want.

The Honda Trip Planner map allows you to switch between three views:
Street—this view shows a “map” layout, with street names and landmarks. This is the default view.
Terrain—this view shows the landscape, such as mountains and valleys.
Satellite—this shows the selected area from a satellite or “bird’s eye” view.
To change the view, click on the desired link at the top right of the map on any page of the Trip Planner. During that visit, you will continue to view maps with that view until you change it. You can also zoom in, zoom out, and click and drag the map to customize your view.
The Trip Summary contains high-level information about a saved trip. You will be prompted to enter this information when you first save your trip, and you can edit it at any time. The Trip Summary can include the following information:
Trip Name—you can create the name that best fits your trip.
Notes—enter a description, tips or wax poetic.
